From the point of view of Tibetan medicine, this mix expels heat from the kidney and lung, and dries chuser (Tib.: ཆུ་སེར།, Wylie: chu ser).

It is commonly used in case of “heat” in the kidneys, pains in the lower abdomen and kidney area, swelling of the knees and lower legs, swelling of the testicles in men caused by “cold” or “heat”, burning sensation during urination, as well as frequent urination.

Especially effective for chronic cystitis, prostatitis, epididymitis.
