This is an important herbal mix for treatment of the treatment of so called "Badkan Mugpo" (Tib.: Wylie: བད་ཀན་སྨུག་པོ།; Wylie: bad kan smug po) diseases. It is very effective for stomach ulcers, as well as poisoning.

It can also be used for the treatment of latent, chronic and infectious forms of heat, indigestion and sharp pains in the stomach.
